About Me

I have been a life-long educator and school leader, beginning my career as a high school teacher.  I then became a school principal, serving at the elementary, middle and high school levels for over 30 years.  Most recently I served as a Faculty Member at the University of St. Thomas where I directed the administrative licensure program between 2006 - 16.  I have also served as a conference presenter and as a consultant/trainer focusing on appraising teacher performance, cultivating the skills of supervisors in conducting an evaluation process marked by fairness, accuracy and a commitment to promoting student achievement.

  • 45 years in education
  • Consulted and trained professionals in over 50 MN districts
  • 10 years at the University of St. Thomas training over 750 students who received administrative licenses
